We invite you to join us each year in April for Charleston's Dogwood-Azalea Festival!
Tour the 6 mile trail when Charleston glows with the beauty of magnificent dogwoods and azaleas at peak bloom. Enjoy gorgeous historic
homes and three-generation dogwoods and azaleas - a true feast for the senses!

36th Annual 5 K Race, 1 Mile Walk, Youth & Toddler Race
Time: March 30th - 2:00 p.m. (Youth & Toddler Race begins at 1:30 p.m.)
Cost: Pre-Registration - $15, Day of - $20
Race the beautiful scenic route in the oldest race event in Southeast Missouri! USATF Certified Course.
Charleston Society for the Arts - Art Show
Time: 14th 6:30pm-8:00pm | 15th 11:00am-5:00pm | 16th 12:00pm-5:00pm | 17th 1:00pm-4:00pm
Cost: Free
Some of the area's finest artists display their award winning oli paintings, pastels and more!

Arts & Crafts Show
Time: 15th - 11am-5pm | 16th - 9am-5pm | 17th - 11am-4pm Cost: Free
Wood crafts, jewelry, and other quality crafts in a lovely park setting with food booths and entertainment.
Candlelight Tour
Time: 16th at Dusk Cost: n/a
While luminaries line the Dogwood-Azalea Trail and banks of azaleas glow underneath the spotlights. Enjoy entertainment along the trail.
Carnival
Time: 15th - 5-10pm | 16th - 10am-10pm | 17th - 11am-6pm Cost: Varies
Carnival rides the whole family can enjoy!
Carriage Rides
Time: 16th - 12-8pm Cost: $8 Adult, $4 Children
Tour the lovely tree-lined streets in a horse-drawn carriage.
Miss Dogwood-Azalea Pageant
Time: Tuesday, April 8, 2014 6:30pm (Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.) Cost: $5 (Contestants & children under 2 free)
Early Entry Date: Thursday, March 27th, 2014 (6:00 p.m.)
Late Entry Date: Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 (6:00 p.m.)
Admire the region's beauties as they compete for Festival Queen
Dolls: Late 1800s to Present

A childhood favorite throughout the years for girls, both young and old.
Fish Fry
Time: 16th - 4-7pm Cost: $10 Adults, $5 Children
(Reservations required for groups and bus tours)
Charleston Kiwanis Club prepares fish with all of your favorite trimmings! Plenty of bus parking!
Dog Show
Time: 16th 4:00 p.m. Cost: Free
Come witness the most entertaining canine competition found anywhere between Poplar Bluff and Paducah!
Motorcycle Show
Time: 3:00 p.m. (People's choice judging begins at 4:00 p.m.) Cost: Free
Start off by riding your bike in the parade then enter into the People's Choice Voting Competition!
Hearnes Museum
Time: 15th - 9am-4pm | 16th - 9am-12pm Cost: Free

Historical Society Home Tour
Time: 14-15th - 10am-5pm | 16th - 9am-4pm | 17th - 1-4pm Cost: $5
Tour this lovely three story Victorian home built circa 1899! Today the Moore House remains one of the country's loveliest links to the past.
Private Home Tours
Time: 14-15th - 1-5pm Cost: $15
Tour the Moore Home and two other beautiful residences; walk through and vividly experience two spectacular gardens.
Ice Cream Social

Mingle with the locals and enjoy this old-fashioned fun-filled event!
Dogwood-Azalea Parade
Time: 16th - 11am Cost: $5
Watch the floats, marching units, Queen and more! The parade begins at City Hall and ends all the way near the Bazaar at Dr. E. Charles Rolwing Park!
Piano Praise Concert
Time: 16th - 1:30-4pm | 17th - 3:30pm Cost: Free
Eight pianos, 16 pianists, and one organist! Truly magnificent!
Phillip's Exotic Animal Petting Zoo and Swine Races
Time: 16th - 9am-5pm | 17th - 10am-5pm
Young and old alike will enjoy the petting zoo! Watch the swine races, and cheer on your favorite to win!
Plant Sale
Time: 14th-16th - 9am-5pm | 17th - 12-4pm Cost: Free
The Molly French Garden Club plant sale is a gardener's delight!
St. Henry's Church Tour
Time: 14-15th - 1pm-5pm
Cost: Free
St. Henry Parish has occupied its property along Court Street since 1873. The Parish began construction of the current Romanesque edifice in 1905, replacing a frame structure that had existed earlier. Archbishop John J. Glennon dedicated the church on June 4, 1907.
Quilt Show
Time: 14th-15th - 12-5pm | 16th - 12-4pm | 17th - 1-4pm
Cost: $3
A beautiful selection of quilts will be on display at the United Methodist Church
Antique Tractor Show
Cost: Free
This display will be sure to put a gleam in the eye of the gentlemen, and reveal who are the true farm girls!
Texas Rangers Encampment & Living Exhibition
