Central States Trailways will do the driving so you can enjoy the sights through the large panoramic windows from the comfortable seating on our 25-passenger coaches. Festival of Lights
Welcome to the 31st annual East Peoria Festival of Lights Holiday light show!
Now the Festival of Lights helps usher in all the November and December family holidays! Marking 30 years of holiday cheer, the festival will begin a new tradition by starting one week earlier with the Parade of Lights on Saturday, Nov. 21. Then, the Folepi's Winter Wonderland drive-through display will open on Wednesday, Nov. 25, allowing many Thanksgiving holiday visitors their first time to see this spectacular event!
Folepi's Winter Wonderland will be even more special in 2015 with additional displays including enhancements to the popular downhill skiers.
The Festival's mascot is the wooden soldier Folepi, whose name serves as an acronym for "Festival of Lights, East Peoria, Illinois."
Winter Wonderland - Tilles Park
Litzsinger and McKnight Roads

Over 100 holiday-themed ground displays featuring 1,000,000 lights (that is equal to 14,236 strands, or 171 miles of lights) glisten throughout the forest of Tilles Park. Display themes include:
- a special holiday wreath
- a toy factory
- holiday bells
- Santa and his reindeer
- a bubbling stream
- the popular tunnel of lights

Way Of Lights Christmas Display
442 South De Mazenod Drive off IL Route 15, Belleville, Illinois
The winter holiday season is exceptional at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Each year the Shrine grounds are illuminated with over one million lights. The "Journey to Bethlehem" is told through a mile-and-a-half route. As visitors drive into this fantasy of lights, they wind past electro-art sculptures and life-size figures depicting the Christmas story.
Festivities continue indoors. In the Visitors & Conference Center view an elegant display of decorated Christmas trees. Join in the fun activities in the Christmas Village, where puppet shows and storytelling are presented. Caroling and other seasonal programs are also featured, making a holiday visit to the Shrine a memorable event. Other attractions include:
